1、good opportunity 好机会（良机）
You've missed a good opportunity.
你错过了良机。
英语单词“chance”虽然也是机会的意思，但 Good chance，未必是指好机会！
Good chance 只是表示某事发生的可能性很大(不一定是朝着好方向，可好可坏)
There is a good chance I will fail my exam.
很有可能，我考试要挂了！
There is a good chance I will finish work early on Friday.
很可能星期五我能早点完工。
2、Slim chance 和 fat chance 哪个是大好机会？
哪个都不是！
slim 有很小的，微小的意思。
slim chance = 极小的机会
They only have a slim chance of winning.
他们获得成功的机会微乎其微。
fat chance 从表面上来看应该是机会很多，实则不然。
fat chance = 机会渺茫(不太可能)
Maybe you'll win the lottery. --- Fat chance.
没准儿你能中彩票。--- 不太可能。
A fat lot of use you are!
你一点儿用都没有！
3、big chance 大好机会
That was my big chance and I blew it!
那是我的大好机会，结果我搞砸了！
4、“抓住机会”是Take a chance吗？
Take有"抓住"的意思，但take a chance可不是"抓住机会"，是“冒险”！
take a chance = 冒险；碰运气
You are taking a chance with the weather if you go on holiday in the UK.
在英国度假，只有赌天气了。
catch the chance = 抓住机会
We should catch the chance to do business in America.
我们应抓住机遇，在美国做生意。
