上班路上，看手机；工作空隙，看手机；等菜吃饭，看手机；下班回家，看手机；准备睡觉，看手机......? 现代人几乎整天都在，看手机。那么，看手机用英语怎么说？
一、看手机，不能用see、look、watch
不管是see、look，还是watch，重点都不是看"手机里的内容"，而是"手机本身"
1、see the phone = 看到手机（本身）
Have you seen my phone anywhere?
你看见我的手机了吗？
2、look at the phone =? 看那个手机（把目光放到手机上）
Look at the phone! It has a foldable screen.
看那个手机，是折叠屏的。
3、watch the phone = 呃，没有这种说法！
因为watch表示看"在移动的东西"，如watch the clock = 看表(表针是移动的)，watch TV = 看电视(电视画面是动态的)。
二、"看手机"正确表达
1、check the phone 看一眼手机
check表示下意识的看一下手机，有没有新的消息。
Don't check your phone at the dinner table.
别老在吃饭的时候看手机。
2、look through the phone 翻看手机
I told you to trust me, why did you still look through my phone？
我跟你说过要相信我，为什么还是要翻我手机？
三、其他易错表达
1、看书
也不能用see、look、watch，因为看书主要是看书的内容，而不是看到书本身。
read the book?= 读书；看书
2、看邮件
同样的道理，不是说看到了邮件（email），而是读里边的内容。
checking the email = 查一下是否有新邮件
reading the email = 读某一封邮件
looking through the email = 翻看邮件列表
